Hi my name is Dayne, I am a tattoo artist and this is my website. I have a passion for design and various artforms, tattooing in particular, which is why I spent 2 years apprenticing to become a tattoo artist. The artist that tought me just about everything I know about the craft is Mr. Alain Reymond, a man who pioneered tattooing in South Africa! Alain was one of the very first professional tattoo artists to open business here, he learnt to tattoo the hard way - through trial & error until after more then 20 years in the business he had perfected the art. Alain's travels took him from country to country, from his native Switzerland to Europe, America, the Pacific Islands & eventually to our beautiful shores. I owe alot to him as does the rest of the local tattoo industry. I hope navigating this website isn't too difficult (it's been a long time since I designed a website!), if you experience any problems, please mail me so I can fix them. Well lets get to it... I am based in Johannesburg, South Africa - my background is one of graphic design, 3D computer design & interior design. It all started for me when I got accepted to The National School Of The Arts in Braamfontein, there my love for art flourished and my journey to find a fulfilling artform started. As a tattoo artist with a passion for tattooing I would love to put some ink into your skin! All my equipment has been collected over the years from quality suppliers in the US and Europe, all the needles I use are bought pre-sterilized and I adhere to good sterilization practice. If you have any questions about the process of tattooing or anything related, don't be shy mail me. I can either work on designing you a new custom piece of ink or we can find you a flash tattoo from a multitude of designs available.
